The internal and external company resources are committed to reach Quality and Efficiency goals in all business processes while ensuring the compliance with principles for the protection of health, occupational safety and environment.

UNI EN ISO 9001
In 1998 G.D obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification. Over time the Quality System has evolved in order to be aligned with respect to the periodic revision of the related standard, up to the last 2015 edition.
The Quality System documentation, based on cross-functional process diagrams, describes the business procedures and constitutes an instrument for knowledge, revision and improvement.
At the same time, the business management process called “PlanDoCheckAct”, set by the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, is applied by the Company Managing Board as a tool for planning and monitoring processes and products, aiming at getting constant improvement and customers satisfaction.
In 2020 G.D obtained the extension of ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing of machinery and complete line for pharmaceutical sector, in Bologna and Anzola plants (G.D1, G.D3 and G.D5).
UNI EN ISO 14001
Starting from 2008 all G.D’s Italian plants have been certified and verified according to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 legislation, which sets the requirements for control of the environment impact and the accordance with the legislative procedure.
While defining its business strategies, G.D is committed to constantly improve its environmental performance and to define new goals and results in eco-efficiency.
G.D will continuously strengthen its commitment in environmental sustainability to meet the challenges related to climate change and to the scarcity of some raw materials on a global level.
UNI ISO 45001
In 2020 G.D completed the migration process from compliance with the British standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) to the new international standard UNI ISO 45001: 2018; this standard replaces the previous one, expanding the pool of requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (SGSSL), in order to allow the organization to monitor its performance and continuously improve it over the time.
