To promote total quality assurance, G.D has developed a device capable of analyzing the visual appearance of the cigarettes, covering such attributes as diameter, length, print color intensity, print positioning, as well as other physical parameters such as weight, dense-end and humidity profiling, firmness, ventilation and pressure-drop.

The CQI makes it possible to do a complete laboratory analysis on visual and physical features of the cigarettes by means of a device fitted directly on the production line.
