With the opening of G.D's first technical site in Izmir, Turkey in April 2009, G.D is responding to an expanding tobacco market in the Middle East. The presence of G.D. in the area will provide local multi-national tobacco industries with a wide range of qualified technical services and Asset Protection Service ( APS).

In order to supply the technical service and production demand in the area, G.D additionally plans on starting up new production sites at the location. In addition to the technical assistance, the new branch provides their clients with the assembling and testing of GD's making & packing lines.

The 2650 m2 branch is made up of 23 in-house trained technical-operational staff assisting in improving and maintaining the high production performance of cigarette making and packing lines. As an integral part of G.D service strategy, G.D. provides further technical training for client’s own technicians to ensure their full operational autonomy. GD
