Coesia is present at the Shanghai Expo open from May 1st to October 31st 2010 within the booth representing the city of Bologna.

For the first time in an Expo, in addition to the National Halls, an entire area of 15 hectares called UBPA (Urban Best Practices Area) is dedicated to the 45 cities of the world considered as excellent examples in relation to the theme of this Expo, "Better City, Better Life".

Bologna was one of the selected cities, within the category of "Liveable cities" with regard to 4 themes: Culture and Creativity, Technological Innovation, Human Rights and Social Inclusion, Urban and Infrastructural Transformation.

Inside the stand, made up of various video-environments, an area is dedicated to the world-famous Bologna "Motor and Packaging Valley" district, with 10 screens showing videos related to the motor and packaging machinery industries. Ducati and Lamborghini are main sponsors and will exhibit their latest models there.

The UBPA area is located on the banks of the Huangpu river in the Puxi district, the nearest to Shanghai's historical center. During the 6 months of its opening, 80 million people are expected to visit the Expo.
