The dialogue between Coesia and draughtsmen that began in 2008, this year
continues with Steven Guarnaccia, a shrewd expert on the illustrative traditions
of America, Asia and Europe, as well as a respected art director, designer and
teacher at Parsons in New York. Guarnaccia has accepted the role of curator for
the 2009 Safety calendar, proposing 11 American illustrators and working on the
proofs
