The Quality System documentation, based on cross-functional process diagrams, describes the business procedures and constitutes an instrument for knowledge, revision and improvement.
At the same time, the business management process called “PlanDoCheckAct”, set by the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, is applied by the Company Managing Board as a tool for planning and monitoring processes and products, aiming at getting constant improvement and customers satisfaction.
UNI EN ISO 14001:2004
Starting from 2008 all G.D’s Italian plants have been certified and verified according to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 legislation, which sets the requirements for control of the environment impact and the accordance with the legislative procedure.
While defining its business strategies, G.D is committed to constantly improve its environmental performance and to define new goals and results in eco-efficiency.
G.D will continuously strengthen its commitment in environmental sustainability to meet the challenges related to climate change and to the scarcity of some raw materials on a global level.
Starting from 2008 G.D obtained the certification of compliance to the OHSAS 18001 International standard (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification) which ensures the conformity to the requirements foreseen for Systems for the Management of the Occupational Health and Safety (SGSSL) and allows G.D to better assess risks and improve its performances in the compliance to the above mentioned safety policies.
